		<description>In his book On Advertising, copywriter guru David Ogilvy told the story of a pro bono assignment he did for an international nonprofit that had asked him to critique their current advertisement. Ogilvy told the nonprofit that their ad was well written, but they made a major design mistake in printing it in reverse type (white on a dark background). Reverse type, he said, appeals to designers, but is too difficult to read. So they took his advice and changed the text to black on white. The result was something like a 50% increase in donations! Now look back at some of the examples given here. How many of them violate this principle? Now imagine the same designs on any small format device.</description>
