Long gone the days when you simply handed over a white piece of paper with your name and contact info on it to potential clients. Nowadays, who do you think clients will call first, the guy with his name on a sheet of paper or this other one with her name engraved in this colorful plastic wonder?
And what’s that? A little magnifying glass and a free sample of her product? This is too good to be true! She must be really good at her job! I mean, if this is only her business card, just imagine how great the quality of her work must be!
You get the idea, right? Whether you want it or not, image matters. If you want to keep up with the competition, you have to show that you’re a professional in every possible way.
This is good news to designers, since it’s yet another opportunity to come up with new creative ideas to present corporate identities or market themselves, and it’s also good news to everyone else, since having stylish, beautiful business cards is a great way to express your uniqueness and maybe even get an edge over the competition.

I love good business card and stationary design… I’m personally using a semi-transparent design at the moment.
(But I’m seriously considering an all black business card, they look so powerful)

where does one go to get cool cards like these printed up? I assume the die cuts and great color is probably more than my local fedex office/kinko’s is prepared to do for me.

Great designs! I really like the one by “Viewzi”. It’s also been interesting to see how many people are also including their social profiles on their business cards now.
Had a client recently get her cards printed with her Twitter avatar on them, which later led to a chance encounter with one of her Twitter followers at a conference that was far away from home for both of them.

All of these designs are beautiful. Big fan of the Ice Drink card. Not that the others aren’t top notch.

I want so many of these. Stunning collection
very creative designs. The paper they are printed on makes a difference. Normally I only did Silk Lamination but I printed some business cards on the new Velvet paper and my clients were blown away. Accelaprint offers this paper check them out for yourselves.
