Capsule train is for those who die for privacy, designed by Hamit Kanuni Kuralkan from Australia. Privacy is something a lot of us find ourselves wishing for, especially riding crowded subways in cities. It provides you an entire compartment that’s big enough for you to fit in. Seating arrangements are such that passengers sit in side by side in side-facing but are separated by capsules. The train also offers a compartment of four at either end of the train.

Trey Chair is a multifunctional chair. At first glance, the Trey Chair seems to be an ordinary office chair. But when you look closer, you will notice that it`s two distinct pieces that can come apart and be used separately. The seat becomes a low rocker, perfect for playing video games or doing homework, while the wheeled base becomes a tiny table or comfy ottoman.

Salkim book hanger is designed with style and creativity in mind. In Turkish “Salkim” means a “bunch” or a “cluster”. Hanging Bookshelves uses much less material and thus it is lighter. iview is a concept designed by Nuno Teixiera, having a curved OLED screen with a Mac finish. This curved surface of the screen is said to be naturally suitable to the curvature of the human eye. It makes you feel claustrophobic, as it envelopes you inside the gently curved surfaces.

Transport Perceptual Pod designed by Alberto Frias, which allows users to lay on a temperature-controlled waterbed surface, can be integrated with a home stereo, computer or iPod and can be remote controlled. It allows you to create your own environment. The LED lightening system makes it easy to personalize the lighting effects and provides energy efficiency. The Transport’s integrated high-end audio system features Anthony Gallo Acoustics’ four-inch Nucleus Micro speakers, as well as the company’s 240-watt MPS subwoofer. Exterior colors are white or black high gloss gel coat finish giving you a sense of purity.

Castor Canadensis, the Toronto based designing collective has created stunning ‘Recycled Tube Light’ from refuse tubular light bulbs. It is simply lamp made by wrapping a series of dead tubes around a pair of incandescent bulbs. These tube lights are commonly disposed improperly, by throwing it into the trash, rather than the proper disposal that these tubes require. This is a perfect idea to reuse old tube lights.

Table is literally throwing itself into the waste basket. It shows the cycle of trash and the possibility reusing trash in a constructive way. Table of trash is made out of recycled paper reused in the material wallboard’ consisting of a craft liner and a corrugated cardboard in between. The material is strong, recyclable and very light weight.
Digital Pot
The Digital Pot designed by Junyi Heo, measures soil conditions, temperature, humidity, and water and let you know if you have over watered the plant. It automatically drains the excess water. It has a USB connection which is used to record the moods of your plant and recharge the batteries. Moods of plant are shown using smiles and other icons on the front display.
