  1. Fantastic collection of photos…really amazing…The power of nature captured is truly impressive….

  2. The little gal’s shadow has been Photoshopped away in the third photo. Pointless depth perception trick at that point. They could’ve done the whole thing in PS and not left home. Still, the rest are lovely.

  3. Interesting. As a professional photographer for the last 30 years, I looked at those images and didn’t see anything that looked “photoshopped”, yet I imagine that every single one of them was. “Photoshop” is a noun. It is a thing. It is just a piece of software that does what the owner instructs it to do. All of those images were opened in Photoshop, had the levels and curves adjusted, maybe the saturation, etc… The negative stigma attached to photographs that are “photoshopped” needs to go away. “Deception” is what should have the negative connotation attached to it. There is absolutely nothing that you can do in Photoshop that you can’t do in the darkroom if you have the skills.

  4. Hmm…. Most of them aren’t impressive at all… and this idea for the post is pretty hackneyed, don’t you think?

    1. I think the work displayed here is an excellent standard Josh. It would be interesting to compare it with some of your work if you feel none of it is “Impressive”? I would certainly give you an honest open critique. Just a thought.

  5. “I removed Aileen’s shadow with Photoshop. It was my careful positioning that allowed Aileen’s shoes to appear to overlap, not photoshop.”

    Third pic..
