I took this photo at my sister’s apartment on the balcony, while I was testing my new lens (Sigma 105mm Macro) which I had gotten a few days earlier. I was looking for something interesting to shoot, and suddenly I spotted a little turtle in the aquarium.

some of them look like fictions but i really like these award wining photographs.
Nice photographs but would liked to have seen a few winners from World Press Photo… Although these are not always the most beautiful but they are the most powerful photos I have ever seen. Especially the ones taken by war photographers. Please update!
I completely agree with you Bram. I understand that we live in a beautiful world and that is cool to see in the pics, but the human story and plight is right now the key story that needs to be told…
