Backlit photography might seem simple to do but in fact it isn’t — the light behind the subject you are aiming at to include within your picture can be very tricky. This type of photography should not be mistaken for silhouette photography.

Some of these are really great. I don’t want to shed a negative light on this, because there are some very clever and awesome photos here. But… I’m disappointed, though, how some photos that are simply badly exposed were included. There are at least five here that I would have thrown away and never shown to anyone.
