The Intrigue and Allure of Fire

Fire is a double edged sword that has enabled the survival of mankind, yet caused massive destruction, destroying everything on its path. This element has the potential to delight or devastate from the first flickering spark. People are hypnotized and fascinated with the fire dancing on the end of a matchstick. In our hands we hold a fleeting power, to be transferred quickly within a few seconds. In this post we feature beauty of the birth of fire.

you can do better than that.

Ah… euhm.. oh! what’s that? google images! Nice! I was able to type “match fire” in the little html input and in the very first page I found most of all your images, that’s an awesome application we got here !

    god… seriously…

you can do better than that.

  3. I couldn’t believe that this post was published by noupe… it’s not the idea.. you folks have sticked to a single category… totally uninspiring.

  4. Interesting shots. Though I don’t find these particularly inspiring, they’re definitely interesting. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I don’t think the article was a bad idea, there are a lot of areas in photogaphy where you could find amazing fire shots.
It’s a shame you only stuck to one area.

  6. Reading the feedback sometimes makes me laugh.

I would have thought that a good designer should be able to think out of the box.

Take the above images for example. What do you really see?
Fire & smoke. No, I don’t think so.

What I see is the shadows, color combination, effects, refelctive light etc.

For those not inspired, maybe you are not the designer you think you are.

  7. Either you’ve got a lot of spam or some folks don’t like your images. Personally, I find them fascinating, shots one doesn’t see every day. It’s neat seeing the fire and the match at the same time like this; thanks for sharing.

  8. Phew, nearly singed my eyebrows on this post!

I can stare at fire for hours, what an element, although smoke can be just as much of a temptress
