The world is a wide and wondrous place, with so many cultures and traditions shaping the world’s people. And with all of our differences, there are universals that seem to govern or guide human behaviors from all over the world. For instance, many countries hold celebrations for various occasions, and one element of these events that pops up all over is a major fireworks display.

There is so much excitement and energy exploding in the air and painting the sky with so many colorful bursts of light and fire, and when photographers manage to capture these explosive treats, it can be mesmerizing. Take a look through the collection we have gathered from some talented photographers who have captured some dazzling fireworks photos.

Really nice photos, thanks for sharing :)
I love taking firework photographs and I’ve realised that different cameras tend to lend themselves to different colours, for example if I was to capture a gold shot I would use my sony and not the cannon.
I suppose if you have different cameras then its a game of ‘trial and error’ to see the different results they bring. Same applies to taking videos of fireworks as well :)

this was perfect timing. I live in Indianapolis and due to the drought they needed to ban the yearly fireworks display. thanks for the post.

This is a really nice set of fireworks shots. My wife took some last year, and they are a real challenge, especially if the smoke from the fireworks lingers, because it tends to get in the way of the other fireworks.
