A good technique does not prevent such a bad taste for some of them (Ocean of secrets by foureyes, Fire and Ice by Emerald-Depths, etc…). Of course, that’s my personal opinion.

      And i agree totally :^/

As someone who could only dream of being able to make some of these I have to agree about the final results. Some of them are way too over done, Less is more is always the way to go as it just seem more effective. I really like “Motorcycle”, “Witness the Sorrow”, “Silence”, “Monarch”, “Into the Sky” and “Twins Pears House”(Going against what im saying, but still think it looks really cool.)

Watermelon Meat and Melting Point have to be the best two from the list but I wish I could explain why.

  13. VTS on August 26th, 2010 at 7:04 am

I have to say some of them are not bad, but the most….you guys know what I mean

  14. Theo on August 26th, 2010 at 9:59 am

  17. Herman on August 27th, 2010 at 7:37 am

Awesome post but feel you might have omitted a couple

  18. Brewer on August 27th, 2010 at 9:06 pm

These are all pretty interesting images but i think only about 20 of them can really be considered photo manipulations. The rest are more illustration. Girl in the shell; the lizard; eye with butterfly; smoke on the water and spring eye are really well done. I think what differentiates a photo manipulation from illustration is a “wait, huh, is that real?” quality.

  19. Prena on August 27th, 2010 at 10:11 pm

its awesome the effects are just too good

  20. ravi on August 27th, 2010 at 11:25 pm

IMHO i feel some of them are not that good, and the quality of the post have gone down i guess. Noupe was so cool some time ago :(

  21. Erich on August 28th, 2010 at 7:17 am

Very interesting and artful, but I would classify many them as illustration/art rather than photo manipulations.

  24. Burhan on August 28th, 2010 at 7:01 pm

Very artistic. Every pic is better than the other one

  25. Adriana on August 30th, 2010 at 12:43 am
