Cartoon: New Framework

I am part of this industry since the early nineties. I have seen many tools come and go, and I know that we have always had a couple of choices to achieve the same task. Without continually improving on the toolset we would not have been able to push the web forward. But the growing trend of the last about three years is something not even die-hard tool lovers can appreciate. You know what I'm talking about? No?
