Medialoot, Crocoblock, Filter Forge and InVision: Prizes and Winners

Just before the Summer vacation we ran a row of giveaways. We had very interesting prizes to be won. In the meantime, all the winners should have received their notifications. Here's what we gave away and whom we gave it to. Make sure to check out these sponsors. Their offerings are great, even if you have to pay for them. Their products are worth each and every cent... Medialoot: Designer Resources Flatrate

[caption id="attachment_82730" align="alignnone" width="550"]Medialoot: One of Their Templates Medialoot: One of Their Templates[/caption] Medialoot offers loads of resources for designers. But instead of making you pay for them individually, they offer a flat rate which allows you to use any resource they have available. In our giveaway we offered five one-year unlimited plans, each worth 99 dollars. And these lucky people won:
  • Florian Schraemmer and Alexander Voigt from Germany,
  • Cristian Samoila from the United Kingdom,
  • Timothy Dang from Australia and
  • Daniel Ribeiro from Brazil
Have fun with what Medialoot has to offer.

Crocoblock: WordPress Theme Club for Everyone

[caption id="attachment_83133" align="alignnone" width="550"]Crocoblock: Landing Page Crocoblock: Landing Page[/caption] Crocoblock is a new WordPress theme club. Other than bigger competitors Crocoblock does not offer thousands of templates right away, but grows sliowly one template at a time. All templates are based on the Cherry framework which is a responsive WordPress theme framework built along the most recent standards. Crocoblock offers different plans. This is what we gave away:
  • One Premium Pack worth 95 dollars (for one month)
  • Two Developer Packs worth 75 dollars each (for one month)
  • Three Standard Packs worth 55 dollars each (also for one month)
The Premium Pack goes to Jasmina Sokolovic from Bosnia/Herzegovina. The two Developer Packs go to Jon Askill from the United Kingdom and Ubaid Ullah from Pakistan. And the three Standard Packs go to Petros Gav from Greece, Jaakko Kallio from Finland and Jean Carlos Blenke from Brazil. Congrats to all of you.

Filter Forge 4: More Than 10,000 Filters for Photoshop Aficionados

[caption id="attachment_82746" align="alignnone" width="550"]Filter Forge: Landing Page Filter Forge: Landing Page[/caption] Filter Forge is a software and a plugin for Adobe Photoshop and other image editors with the same plugin technology. With Filter Forge you are able to create your own filters visually. This is great, of course, but even greater is the growing collection of community-made filters, ready for you to use. More than 10,000 are available at the time of this writing, with more being added daily. Filter Forge is not a free software, though. So we teamed up with the great folks behind this equally great piece of software, and gave three of our readers the chance to win them a license of Filter Forge 4 Standard, worth 249 USD. Here are the winners:
  • Vince Rhee from the USA
  • Sergio Peña Y Lillo from Chile
  • Matthieu Quenez from France
Have fun with this fine piece of software.

InVision: Design Prototyping and Collaboration Made Easy

[caption id="attachment_83113" align="alignnone" width="550"]InVision: Comment Directly to the Screen InVision: Comment Directly to the Screen[/caption] InVision is a design prototyping and collaboration solution I would have died for in the Nineties. It allows you to create interactive mockups, upload them and share them with any stakeholders involved with your projects. It has a live presentation mode, where you can collaborate simultaneously, marking errors, add annotations, create tasks from design elements. It offers group chat and even voice over IP calls. InVision is able to produce engaging mockups not only for the web, but also for mobile devices, complete with touch effects and gestures. We were giving away three Professional plans for a full year each – a value of 264 dollars per winner. These people won:
  • Roberto Martinez from Peru
  • Moji Norouzi from Iran and
  • Markus Huber from Austria
I suppose this year will change the way you collaborate on design projects forever. Have fun on this life-changing journey. That's that. I was hoping to get these prizes out earlier, but vacation and some other obstacles came in the way. So, sorry for making you all wait a while. Medialoot, Crocoblock, Filter Forge and InVision are not to blame for the wait. They simply couldn't pick the winners themselves. Nothing is lost, though, have fun with your winnings.
