Most people in the graphic and web design industry usually have an interest in technology, meaning a lot of us also have an interest in console gaming. If not, don’t turn away just yet; this post showcases over 80 incredible pieces of fan art from console games suitable for everyone (not just gamers), from Battlefield to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Resident Evil to Tekken. The showcase is a combination of digital painting artwork, three-dimensional modeling work and even hand-drawn sketches; there’s something for everyone here! Most of the American-style game art of today is ALL the same: uninspiring macho men in big suits with guns. Yawn.
I much prefer the Japanese game art of Street Fighter and Resident evil here: much more unique and fun, even after all these years :)
