I am excited that someone did this topic! The male figure always gets overlooked or completely un-noticed when it comes to art.
I do wish there had been less ‘fan art’ and more actual art/digital pieces of the male for the sake of that(having a hard time thinking of a clear way to say it). I’ve seen some very wonderful art done of the male figure and portraits that were not famous, and in my opinion, they tend to have more content to them.

This is what passes for male beauty these days?? Feminized, sensitive-looking metrosexuals with goopy hairdos and thin “extra-douchebag” goatees??? And then women wonder where all the ‘real men’ have gone.
What happened to the Vetruvio? Michelangelo’s David? Or Victory? Hayez’s Samson? Eakins’ Salutat? Solomon’s Ajax?? The Barberini Faun?? THESE are examples of male beauty. If you wanna put up a gallery of portraits of feminized or sensitive-looking men, digital or not, them more power to you. But CALL THINGS BY THEIR NAME, or not at all.

Man, there were some really awful portraits in there. This could have been a much stronger collection with out some. The Will Smith one?? My gosh! Looked grotesque.

my god! most of those paintings from CS look really bad, why??? smudge tool in Cs thats why!!!specially Jared Leto !! I’m really disappointed!! I recommend to lookup up artist like Sebastian Kruger or Jason Seiler, not those CS amateurs in this gallery…
